Current PLASP families 

To serve you better, PLASP has simplified the registration process for our current Kindergarten and School Age families. You no longer need to confirm your child's space for the following school year. Your child will remain registered in their current program(s) until you choose to cancel. You can see what programs your child is registered for by logging into your family profile. 

If your child will be returning to the same before/after school and PA Day programs in the 2019/20 school year, no action is required on your part. 

However, if you wish to add new programs, make changes or cancel programs for the 2019/2020 school year, please do so as soon as possible beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018

Due to City of Toronto requirements, families receiving subsidy MUST ensure they are registered in ALL before/after school programs and PA Day programs offered at their location. 
 

If you are new to PLASP

Starting Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, we will be accepting registrations from new families for PLASP programs running from Sept. 2, 2019 until the end of the 2019/20 school year. You will be able to sign up for:

  • Before/After School Programs
  • PA Day programs

Current PLASP families will continue to have priority for all programs and camps that they register for before March 8, 2019. Spaces will depend on availability at each program.

Fees

Updated fees for the 2019/20 school year will be available in the spring. Please note that fees and summer camp locations are subject to change with notice.

If you do not need to make any changes to your child's before and/or after school programs and PA day programs, no action is required by you. Your child's registration will automatically be renewed. We will verify your child's registration by email in May when we release our fees and parent handbooks for the 2019/2020 school yaer 

We will begin accepting changes, additions and cancellations for the 2019/2020 school year on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018. Registration for new families will begin on Jan. 9, 2019. 

Registrations for holiday camps including winter, March break and summer, will continue to be done separately and on an individual basis. Please watch for posters in your child's program or our website for upcoming camp registration dates. 

You may register for more than one program at different locations. However, it is your responsibility to cancel the programs you do not need once your registration is complete, otherwise you will be charged for ALL confirmed programs. 

We automatically submit the request to transfer your child to the school age program within their school and advise you if space is available. No action is required by you. 

You are required to manually add the kindergarten program and location to your child's profile by submitting a program request. You can do this as of Dec. 11, 2018 by logging into your parent profile and selecting add program. If you need them, don't forget to register for PA Days at the same time! 

Your child is considered too old for the PLASP program when they complete the highest grade in the school where they attend, or reach the age of 13. In this case, your child will automatically be cancelled. No action is required by you. 

Cancelling programs must be done by logging into your PLASP account. Please note that cancellation requests must be submitted one week (five business days) prior to the next schedled pre-authorized payment day. As of July 1, 2019, our new cancellation policy will require cancellations to be submitted 10 business days prior to the next scheduled pre-authorized payment day. 

We will begin processing requests and registrations for the 2019/2020 school year on March 11, 2019. 

You will be emailed the status of your change request or registration by the end of May 2019. 

Updated fees for the 2019/2020 school year will be available in May. At this time, we will send an email verifying your child's registration for the 2019/2020 school year, along with any updated fees and parent handbooks. 

Parents of children registered in our school age and kindergarten programs no longer need to confirm their child’s space for the following school year. Children will remain registered in their current programs until their parents choose to cancel. You can check the status of your registration requests by logging in to your family’s profile at www.plasp.com.

For wait-list families, this will impact your child’s registration once they are confirmed in a PLASP program. Please remember that our wait-lists fluctuate daily and are subject to change. New space(s) in a program may become available to a family on the waiting list for many different reasons including children becoming too old for the PLASP program, change in a parent’s work schedule, availability of family members to provide care, etc.)

If parents are on a waiting list for a PLASP program, PLASP will send email updates every three months. We require parents to respond to these emails to confirm that they are still interested in being on the waiting list for the program that they have requested.
