2020 Holiday Camps - PLASP

2020 Holiday Camps

Children at a PLASP location

PLASP's holiday break camps are returning to a location near you! These licensed, inclusive camps are offered at select locations only. Camps are available for children in kindergarten to grade 6, and will operate at select locations for three days from Dec. 21-23, 2020, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Please be aware that PLASP's holiday amps are available only to families already registered in a PLASP before or after school program. Holiday camps are added through the parent web portal.

All locations are subject to change with notice, and are subject to sufficient enrolment, possible school closures due to COVID-19, and/or changes by local public health units.

Camps feature a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Each day, a nutritious breakfast and afternoon snack is served. Children will be required to bring their own bagged lunch. Please see our bagged lunch policy for more information. A camp-wide pizza lunch will be provided on the last day of each camp program.

All locations are subject to change with notice.

Children will participate in fun, age-appropriate activities including:

  • Physical activity (co-operative games, sports)
  • Arts (drama, music, visual arts)
  • Quiet activities (language, literacy)
  • Construction and design
  • Nature and science

PLASP camps are based on learning through play and follow the Ministry of Education pedagogy How Does Learning Happen? Camps help children strengthen their minds and bodies in a safe environment. Program staff will work with the children to develop program plans and activities based around their interests.
