2022 Summer Programs

Registration closes today – Friday, May 20, 2022!

PLASP will be offering fun and engaging, full-day licensed child care programs this July and August at select locations in Peel Region and Toronto. Registration opens on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Summer programs are only for current PLASP families who are registered in PLASP before and after school programs.

Programs will be available for school age and kindergarten children
Each day, a nutritious breakfast and afternoon snack is served. Children will be required to bring their own bagged lunch. Please see our bagged lunch policy for more information. Each Friday, a pizza lunch will be offered.
Programs will feature outdoor play and nature-based activities, COVID-safe activities and activities themed around science, art, construction, design and discovery.

Please note that air conditioning is not guaranteed at all locations. All programs and operations are subject to COVID protocols and guidelines, which will be communicated to families prior to the start of summer programs. Locations are subject to change with notice, and are subject to sufficient enrolment, possible school closures and/or changes by local public health units. Should cancelations of programs occur due to COVID, families will be notified immediately as information becomes available.

PLASP programs are based on learning through play and follow the Ministry of Education's “How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years” to help children strengthen their minds and bodies in a safe environment. Program staff will work with the children to develop program plans and activities based around their interests.
