Brampton Guardian readers trust PLASP with top child care rating
When it comes to child care, Brampton parents have made it clear that PLASP Child Care Services is the best place for their children. For the fourth consecutive year, PLASP has won the Brampton Guardian’s Readers’ Choice Gold Award for Best Child Care.
PLASP has been providing award-winning, high quality early learning and child care in the Peel Region for 40 years. Our programs provide an extension of children’s school day learning experience and are licensed under the Ministry of Education.
Highly trained staff facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, that provide opportunities for children to learn. Staff take the time to listen and interact with the children, providing a balanced program that supports and encourages children to grow and develop to their full potential. PLASP programs are consistent with the Ministry of Education’s How Does Learning Happen pedagogy and curriculum and follow the regulations outlines in the Child Care and Early Years Act. Substantial, nutritious snacks and meals are provided and included in all fees.
PLASP CEO Lynn Hiebert welcomes a family on the first day of school.
“We are humbled by the continued trust that families show in PLASP, both through this Readers’ Choice award and by registering their children in our programs,” says Lynn Hiebert, PLASP CEO. “It’s an honour and a tribute to all our staff, volunteers and students on placement to be recognized in this way by our community.”
PLASP operates Before and After School programs in 221 locations in Mississauga, Brampton, Bolton and Toronto for children ages 4 to 12, as well as 22 licensed Early Learning and Child Care Centres for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age in Mississauga and Brampton.
This year, PLASP will provide services to more than 16,000 children that are enrolled in their programs this year. Over 1,300 staff and 2,000 volunteers work together to provide the quality of care which parents have come to expect.
