Our Shared Responsibility

Maintaining a positive and respectful environment is a shared responsibility. We expect all members of our community, including parents, caregivers, external visitors, and community partners, to act with integrity, kindness, and respect toward one another.

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in appropriate action:

  • Bullying: Acts of intimidation, humiliation, or exclusion that cause emotional or physical harm.
  • Discrimination: Unfair treatment based on personal characteristics such as race, gender, religion, ability, or other protected grounds.
  • Racism: Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against individuals or groups based on race or ethnicity.
  • Harassment: Offensive, degrading, or abusive behavior, including sexual harassment or unwelcome advances.

Expectations for Conduct

All individuals participating in PLASP programs are expected to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Interact respectfully with PLASP staff, volunteers, children, and other community members.
  • Communicate courteously and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
  • Support the creation of a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment.

Commitment to Accountability

By participating in PLASP programs, all individuals agree to uphold this Community Code of Conduct. Violations will be addressed promptly and may result in corrective actions, including removal from PLASP programs if necessary and or legal action. Together, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
