To Get Started:

Login to the development environment: https://plasp.com/wp-admin

Locate the section were you are to edit: Blogs are in Posts, Resources are in Resources

Adding Blogs

Go to posts > add new

Add title, details for the post (under the dark line – “News”) as well as select the category for the blog so it shows up properly on the feed on this page: https://plasp.com/news-updates/

Adding content to the post:

Click in the area below the title and you will automatically get a paragraph widget editor. You can paste content directly in here. If the content is too wide (it will probably be too wide) then you need to add a widget that controls the width. There are 2 widgets that control width:

You can access these widgets at the top by pressing the blue + to access the widget menu. You can search for these or scroll through. I just typed “width”.

950px is good for wide images and 700px is good if it is straight text. You can use these widgets as many times as you like so don’f feel like you need to put everything in one of them.

Adding images to the blog is as easy as dropping the image, PLASP – Image with rounded corners widget on to the page and selecting from the media gallery. PLASP – Image with rounded corners widget does not work in the 700px section because it is meant to be wider than 700px so you will need to use the basic Image widget.

Note: if you are uploading images, make sure you use the folders in the media section so you can find them later

A few notes about editing content:

  • To add a heading to the text you add in the paragraph widget click on the backwards P icon (paragraph styling) and then select heading. You will then need to click on it again to select H1, H2, H3… The heading will appear beside three vertical lines.
  • You can select multiple paragraph widgets and click on the backwards P icon to turn them into and ordered or a unordered list.
  • For stylized buttons use the PLASP – button widget

Adding Resources

Go to Resources > add new
