“Night of Stars” With Blake Fly Will Celebrate Volunteers
A fantastic “Night of Stars” will be held in early May to celebrate PLASP’s volunteers and students on placement. Invitations have already been sent to more than 1,000 guests who are expected to attend the evening’s festivities.
PLASP is excited to announce that the keynote speaker this year is BLAKE FLY – Author, Speaker and Music Maker. Blake’s humour, passion and musical talents make for a high energy, engaging and fun presentation. For 10 years, Blake was a student leader for more than 6,000 university students; today Blake transfers campus-lessons into life-lessons. Blake challenges his audience to build quality relationships, deal with transitions, and follow their passion.
Blake has been a TEDx conference host and featured TEDx speaker. He has also been featured on Citytv, CBC National News and has published 2 books. He’s passionate about social initiatives and community building.
With special guest Blake Fly, recognition awards, food, fun and prizes on the agenda, this is sure to be an excellent recognition celebration for all! For more information, please contact the Volunteer Services Department at 905.890.1711.
