PLASP Participates in the Act of Remembrance
Every year on November 11th, we observe Remembrance Day to pay tribute to the brave individuals who have served our country and continue to serve on our behalf.
At PLASP, we participate in the Act of Remembrance to commemorate this significant day in a variety of ways.
PLASP Children and staff are invited to participate in age-appropriate curriculum ideas provided within resource guides found on both the Government of Canada’s website, and The Royal Canadian Legion websites.
For example, folding origami peace cranes, or creating paper peace doves is an activity that promotes peace and that children and educators can do together. You may also wish to try this activity with children at home.
Listed below are ways which we can all participate in the Act of Remembrance:
Additionally, you may choose to attend a Remembrance Day ceremony. Listed below is information for Remembrance Day ceremonies taking place across the communities that PLASP serves.
