PLASP CEO Lynn Hiebert Announces Retirement, Effective September 2025
Lynn Hiebert has been a guiding light at PLASP in her role of CEO over the past 13 years. So, it is with mixed emotions that we share the news that she will retire on September 1, 2025.

Lynn is known as an empathetic and visible leader. She has engaged our families and staff in the development of our strategic direction. Thanks to her leadership, we have been successful achieving our goals, improving programs and centres, technology and staff recruitment and retention. She has built strong ties with our families and staff and our community partners - relationships that are a core part of our success.
During her time with PLASP, Lynn has been a champion in shaping child care in Ontario. Her expertise and advice to government has been invaluable as the Ministry of Education has rolled out new programs, the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) System – as well as ongoing implementation and updates of the Child Care and Early Years Act and Ontario’s pedagogy for the early years.

In the months ahead, we will be sharing more information with you about ways in which Lynn’s retirement will be recognized and celebrated. In the meantime, we know you will join us in congratulating Lynn on her retirement and wishing her well on this exciting next step in her personal journey!
Thank you Lynn!
